Mi obra se inicia sobre la base del informalismo y la pintura gestual en la Ibiza de los años sesenta y setenta, la cual tuvo una notable vitalidad en el campo de las artes visuales. El ambiente cultural, artístico y estético estaba inmerso en un debate intenso, abierto y diverso aunque las obras que presentaban las galerías de la isla fueran mayormente abstractas e informales. Tenemos que reconocer también en el debate las aportaciones del formalismo, bien representado por artistas tan interesantes como Don Kunkel y especialmente Hans Hinterraiter. Mi profesión como docente un tanto nómada han condicionado hacia una discontinuidad mi trabajo visual, aunque debo admitir que siempre he mantenido en mi esta fuente expresiva que arrancó en mi Ibiza natal.
